One of my best friends is visiting me this week and honestly it’s been so great for me to get to share my love of this city with someone close to me. We’ve been to Stanley Park, spent far too long in Sephora (please forgive me wallet) to Granville Island, Kits beach, Wreck Beach, the aquarium and tonight we just got back from Whistler (arguably one of my all time favourite places) Unfortunately the afternoon culminated in my friend being stretchered of the mountain in a highly dramatic style after they were wiped out by a snowboarder (fucking snowboarders hey) Poor thing might be scared off skiing for life at this point but apparently it was ‘amazing’.

Road-tripping to Victoria this weekend to see a city inherently more British than the United Kingdom itself and my friends get back from their adventures across North America tomorrow so it will most definitely be drinks o’clock.

I honestly don’t know why you would want to live anywhere else. Vancouver is absolutely amazing.
